FRESCO MALAYSIA

MACHINERY WARRANTY, SERVICE & REPAIR POLICY

(Effective 2025)

This policy applies to all commercial food & beverage machines sold under Fresco Malaysia.


1. WARRANTY COVERAGE

Fresco Malaysia provides a Six (6) Months Limited Warranty from the date of purchase.

The warranty strictly covers electronic components only, including:

  • Motor

  • Internal Wiring

  • Switch / On-Off Button

  • Timer

  • Controller Board

This warranty covers manufacturing defects only.


2. WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS

The warranty does NOT cover the following:

  • Damage caused by misuse, negligence, or improper operation

  • Overloading beyond machine capacity

  • Water or liquid damage to motor or internal components

  • Physical damage (drop, impact, accident)

  • Power surge damage

  • Unauthorized repair, modification, or dismantling

  • Wear and tear parts

  • Heating elements, heating plates, mould coating wear

  • Rubber parts, belts, foam, bearings

  • Consumable components

  • Cosmetic damage (scratches, dents, discoloration)

  • Transportation cost to service center

Any machine found to be tampered with will automatically void the warranty.


3. WARRANTY CLAIM PROCEDURE

To initiate a warranty claim:

  1. Customer must contact Fresco Malaysia support with:

    • Clear video of the issue

    • Photo of machine (front & back)

    • Serial number (if available)

    • Proof of purchase (Invoice / Shopee order ID)

  2. If inspection is required, customer must send the machine to our service center:

  1. Shipping cost to our service center is borne by the customer.

  2. If the issue is confirmed as a valid manufacturing defect:

    • Repair will be performed free of charge

    • Return shipping cost will be borne by Fresco Malaysia

If the issue is not covered under warranty, a repair quotation will be provided before proceeding.


4. OUT OF WARRANTY SERVICE

Machines that have exceeded the 6-month warranty period are classified as out-of-warranty.

For out-of-warranty repair:

  • Service charges apply based on our current Service Charge List

  • Spare part costs are not included in service fees

  • Inspection fee may apply if customer chooses not to proceed

  • All transportation costs (both ways) are borne by the customer

  • Repair lead time: 2–5 working days (subject to parts availability)


5. ON-SITE SERVICE (KLANG VALLEY ONLY)

On-site service is available for selected machines and locations.

  • On-site transportation charges apply (RM120 – RM150 depending on location)

  • Service fees exclude spare parts

  • Appointment scheduling is required


6. REPAIR WARRANTY

All completed repairs are covered by a 2-week limited repair warranty, applicable only to the repaired component.

This does not reset or extend the original machine warranty period.


7. IMPORTANT NOTES

  • Warranty is valid only for the original purchaser

  • Warranty is non-transferable

  • Fresco Malaysia reserves the right to determine the validity of any claim

  • Customers are advised to retain original packaging for safer shipping

  • Proper packaging is the responsibility of the customer
